Filming tips

  • 1.Film from the side where possible — the more directly side-on, the better.
  • 2.Capture the full body in frame from head to feet.
  • 3.Good lighting makes a big difference to detection accuracy.
  • 4.Keep the camera stable — a tripod or prop helps.
  • 5.Record the first 10–20m if acceleration is your focus.
  • 6.Sprint in a straight line parallel to the camera.

Limitations

This tool produces estimates only. Pose detection accuracy depends on video quality, camera angle, lighting, and athlete clothing. A directly side-on view gives the best results. This is not a medical or diagnostic tool. Sprint context varies by age, sport, and intent — treat all feedback as a starting point, not a verdict.
